Street Camera Light Enforcement...

Ah, how I hate this technology.  I'm not gonna lie but I love the use of technology in most things.  The use of technology to make things more efficient is cool but, this is one i really oppose.

Seriously, the fact that these machines are created to take place the job of a local police officer (which is a human being earning a wage, and has sworn to protect the general public of crime), just baffles me because the idea that machines will make sure we don't break the law seems somewhat possible.

I'm not gonna lie, the only cool part is that you can see pictures of your violation online, and they can even provide video if the camera supports video of your violation.  It made me feel like a bad ass.

This is me making a right turn on a red after a rolling stop.

Although one idea I would like to suggest.  If there isn't a human wage to pay for, and this technology brings in a very good income to whomever invested in it (100 dollars per violation).  Then I believe that due to the fact that this is cheaper than paying cops to go out in the street and risk their lives in some real crime while they're trying to pull over some college student that hardly has any cash.  This system should create CHEAPER TICKETS!!!

Instead of paying 100 bucks, charge 45 since this is not using an actual police officer's time to catch someone in the act.

The camera takes a snapshot and sends the info to the police does not equal a 100 dollar fine, sorry.  If you wanna charge me 100  bucks at least get A PERSON to catch me in the act to make it fair.

This just sucks.  I'M DONE VENTING...lol.
