Ok, So i've been hearing all this stuff about the beats headphones. How the quality of sound is great and the reviews of the frequencies. However, one thing I have learned from the past is that Monster Products are always WAY overpriced. I think there is a common misconception that the more you pay, the better the product when it comes to headphones although I have learned that is not necessarily the case. I actually want a pair of the new Beats Spin headphones although for 350 dollars, i think i'll pass!
I bought a pair of Skullcandy T.I. headphones and they didn't even last me a full year.

The headphones are missing the low frequencies (BIG TIME), and the chord seems to be on the short side. They literally broke last week because the extensions are too thin and with heavy use of these 70 dollar headphones, they literally broke off.
Check it out...

I had to tape the one side that stayed in tact, so now I only head one headphone left on them. They are just a backkup pair of dj headphones if anything goes crazy bad with anything i have left.
When everything is said and done, I just end up using the dj headphones i have been using since I was in high school. The stanton Dj Pro 2000s. The sound is reliable, they're not flashy so they're focused on sound, and it's passed almost a decade of trust by me. Buy the stanton's if you want reliable dj headphones. Other products might look flashy, might cost more, but the sound and durability they lack IS NOT WORTH IT!
